More than 35,000 certified Emergency Medical Dispatchers have completed the IAED's DD-CPR course, which was launched in April 2022.

For decades, Emergency Medical Dispatchers completed standard CPR training every two years to maintain their certification. However, this changed in April 2022 when the International Academies of Emergency Dispatch® (IAED™) launched a first-of-its-kind, Dispatcher-Directed CPR (DD-CPR) course.
