18 May 2013 | ProQA Paramount 5.0.0.673 Update Available
Please note we have changed our installers:
If a custom path is chosen the original install may be uninstalled, please read all instructions before upgrading. If you choose to install to a custom path and also have the software in the default location (\Priority Dispatch\ProQA\Medical, Fire, or Police) you will want to copy the original folder, it does not need to be renamed but does need to be a copy (Medical_Copy). During the install to the custom path the software will uninstall the default path, once the install is finished delete out the original folder and rename the copy back to the original name.
AS ALWAYS - BACK UP YOUR DATA AND TEST SOFTWARE BEFORE FULLY DEPLOYING
As Paramount users that includes creating Profiles for each Discipline used, profiles contain all information in the Admin Utility; Settings, Responder Script, User Interface, Restricted Settings, Abort Reasons, Description Essentials, Discipline Launcher, Response Configuration and Special Definitions.
Other items to backup would be the \xldb directory as well as the licenses and xlerator.dat file located in the XLerator folder.

This update resolves:
- Numeric Conversion for the NLD.
- Ability to change Screen Resolution and DPI settings on monitor and have Paramount resize appropriately.
- Added tabs with ASA Diag for UK and Ireland medications.
- "Reasons not taking" popup box prefilled with answers in Aspirin Diagnostic.

An update to the Paramount Software, version 5.0.0.672, has been released to the Paramount FTP site. For Police users, this update contains Protocol 136 – Active Assailant (Shooter). If you have already installed Paramount Medical utilizing the 12.2 protocols, please make sure to modify the installation path back to C:\Program Files\Priority Dispatch\ProQA\Medical 12_2 directory during the installation to ensure that settings are not lost locally.

- PAI Panel C-4: reversed position of the answer cursor to default on the Compressions 1st button
- Selection Airway Link Panel (H-19): changed answer button name to: PAI Stoma -- Airway/Arrest
- Aspirin Diagnostic & Instruction Tool: added new button and pull-down list for special doses (30 to 500 mg)
- Pulse Check Diagnostic: added new Can't Find Pulse button that ends the session and auto-selects the key question answer choice Can't find pulse to start
