5-27-2005 | Changes in the Fast Track Feature
The Academy recently conducted a data study regarding the correct entry of Chief Complaint-related information in the “What’s the problem, tell me exactly what happened?” field of ProQA. A review of several thousand cases indicated that the fast track entry of Age/Gender (i.e., 42yom) in this field appears to degrade the process of consistently obtaining and recording accurate Chief Complaint information.

2-23-2005 | Announcing the release of ProQA 3.4.2 Medical
Priority Dispatch announces the release of ProQA 3.4.2 for medical; fire and police versions will follow shortly. This version has many new features, see the above document for details. The modifications came at the request of current ProQA users, in addition to enhancements that our internal development team incorporated to improve the efficiency of ProQA.
ProQA 3.4.2 Medical uses the latest version 11.2 MPDS protocol. We are aware the changes in the software and protocol can impact the CAD and other systems, so we suggest you check with your provider and ensure that it is safe to implement this version.
We would also suggest that your agency do some internal testing on a non-live system to ensure compatibility - AS ALWAYS, BACKUP ALL RELEVANT FILES BEFORE IMPLEMENTING.
If you have any questions, please feel free to contact support at: 801-363-9127 or support@prioritydispatch.net.

07-30-2004 | Announcing AQUA Phoenix (v5)

In working with clients we decided to go back to the basics - review a case and print a report. Initially working with AQUA Phoenix you will notice it is a much simpler, less cluttered interface. That is because we simplified most of the functions like reports, searches, case lists, etc.
In fact, it will appear that various features are gone - such as custom reports. We realized that items, such as custom reports, are a program unto themselves and there is a whole industry that specializes in that segment. And rather than "re-invent the wheel" we have made our program compatible with other products such as Crystal Reports, MS Access, etc.

04-08-2004 | ProQA 3.4 New Features
What's new in ProQA 3.4? Here's some of the highlights:
- ProQA Toolbar: The toolbar has been completely redesigned. Items that were on the Status bar (Dispatch Icon, Timers etc.) are now up at the top. We have made room for additional button for future expandability, and for Description Essentials data collection tools.
- Configurable Responder Script: This allows users to customize the script information that is sent to CAD. Please note that if CAD is not designed to accept the Responder Script this information may simply be ignored, or may cause problems with the integration. By default is this feature is disabled (which makes no change in you current integration), but can be enabled in the Configuration Utility.
- Description Essential Packages: Buttons can now be added to the toolbar to help gather information about specific situations. Currently there are three buttons: HAZMAT, CBRN (chemical, biological, radiological, and nuclear situations), and SARS. At any time we can deploy new Description Essential packages with a single file update.
