Do humor and heart attack belong in the same sentence?

February 10, 2012

That's up to you to decide after watching a new film released by the American Heart Association (AHA). The film is a comedy about a woman—Elizabeth Banks played the lead role and directed the movie—having a heart attack. Yes, a comedy. The mother is shown focusing on everyone's needs except her own while ignoring signs of a heart attack. Banks partnered with the AHA to spread the word about heart disease using a rather unusual way knowing that funny things are passed on, reaching a much wider audience. To watch the short film or for more information about reducing your risk for heart disease, visit www.goredforwomen.org http://www.ksl.com/?nid=1070&sid=19112025
